AYS COVID-19 Update – June 2020
On behalf of the entire At Your Service team, we’d like to thank our community for continuing to trust us with the care of your loved ones in these times of so much change and uncertainty. We truly love the work we get to do for our community- and will always continue to work hard to earn your trust. We strive to be an option we’d choose for ourselves or our loved ones.
We’ve been continuing to adjust and improve our procedures as the situation in our community continues to develop. We wanted to take a quick moment to update our community on our operations, and infection control procedures.
-At Your Service Home Care is still operating under normal business hours (M-F 8:30A-5P). We continue to have comprehensive, 24/7 support for our clients and Care Pros after-hours. We now offer additional ways to reach out to our team- such as an improved family web portal, and text messaging support!
-We continue to be able to offer in-person appointments and assessments by appointment. We are also able to offer virtual appointments upon request!
-At Your Service Home Care has recently launched Care Protect! Over the past several weeks, we’ve successfully implemented a new program where all clients receive a regular delivery of new protective equipment (gloves, masks, etc;) All care staff have this equipment available to them each and every scheduled shift, in order to keep our clients and care staff safe!
-Each Care Pro continues to be screened prior to every shift. Each Care Pro is screened for recent travel and potential exposure, as well as symptoms. They also log their current temperature. Should there be an issue with their screening, we immediately re-staff the shift with an available Care Pro.
-As a new, added measure, Care Pros are now screened again when they clock out of a shift. They are asked if their clients have had a change in condition, if there is enough protective equipment in the home, or if they’ve observed any flu-like symptoms or potential exposure.
